Roulette table

The roulette table is a popular spot in any casino, and doubly so in countries outside of North America. Playing the game of roulette requires that you are at least moderately familiar with the roulette table, and the bets it offers.

As a whole, the roulette table can be seen as an elongated rectangle, with the roulette wheel itself at one end. Along one side of the table stand the dealers, and along the other side stand the players. At the end opposite the wheel players can usually get close enough to place bets.

The game of roulette offers two main types of bet, named after their relationship to the table layout. Inside bets are bets made on individual numbers, found at the center of the roulette table. Outside bets are all scattered around the outer edge of the table.

Inside bets must cumulatively total at least the table minimum, while each individual outside bet must be at least the table minimum.
